What an amazing eye opening tour with huge wide open spaces, very large (up to 2million ha) cattle stations many thousands of cattle and very genuine people we met on this trip. If I was in my 20s I would be over there like a shot gaining the experience of living and working in this area. Back from another amazing trip! (my 4th with C R McPhail). China is the most amazing place. Ron and his team really turned it on with the first Fonterra Farmers trip. The hotels were beautiful – we kept saying they couldn’t get better but they did!
A lovely mix of farming venues and sight seeing – the Great Wall, Terracotta Army and then the cruise down the Yangtze to see the 3 Gorges Dam.. mind blowing and should be on everyones bucket list. So many highlights, too many to mention but the food, the people and the culture plus many friends made on the trip.. a lifetime of memories.
The tour of the Perth area and southern Africa with your company has been another great life experience for Dale and myself. As repeat clients we appreciate the professionalism you provide, the exciting and varied itinerary, good accommodation, transport, and excellent, well informed guides. For a good number of years Neil & I have been travelling with CR McPhail, on tours that have taken us to many parts of the globe. Being farmers ourselves and leading extremely busy lives we have thoroughly enjoyed joining tours with likeminded people. Seeing cutting edge technology, cultural and scenic hot spots, all this and being truly spoilt at the end of a busy day with fabulous accommodation and meals. Often quaint old towns with plenty of areas for me to explore with my camera.
Our tours have always had a good balance of sightseeing, history and technical component. We have been places we would never get to travelling on our own. There is nothing better than having everything organised for us so we can sit back, relax and enjoy every day’s new experiences. We can’t wait for our next adventure!
